    That’s not how it happens…

a lobbyists buys a politician who pays someone to write up a proposal (probably somewhere in China) that will benefit both the lobbyist and the bought politician. This proposal is either insert secretly into another existing bill i.e pork or pushed through as a bill on it’s own without ever reading it or debating it. This also holds true when the President (Executive branch) wants to make law, yes make law. Most of these bills don’t sound like your small town folk singer, they are wordy and vague and due to all the pork they are fed, usually very obese and end up being useless. The lucky few that do make it through still do have be signed by the President and become law. Nowhere in this process is the individual citizen considered or cared about. Oh, and the new law will end up making things worse, not better.

That’s how it really happens… you need to stop watching these cartoons, they are all fictional. ;-)
