		<description>I think you are referring to the sparring between Lambo and I regarding the Jeffersonian view of the citizens right of revolution every generation. I took the side that &quot;revolution&quot; doesn&#039;t necessarily mean, a violent revolt and that I don&#039;t think the founding fathers intended the 2nd amendment for that reason.  Well, after doing some research and putting views in their proper context, I stand corrected.  That is exactly for Jefferson was saying in that setting and context (revolutionary era), that citizens should have the right to defend themselves from unwarranted submission tactics especially from their own government, even that means a violent revolution.  Now does that still hold true today?  Well, I&#039;ll leave up for discussion.</description>

		<description>I am listening to the podcast and heard someone say that he didn&#039;t believe that the founding fathers intended for us to be armed in order to defend ourselves from the government. I have to point out Thomas Jefferson&#039;s famous quote: &quot;The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.&quot; It doesn&#039;t sound to me like he intended for guns to be used for hunting.</description>
